Well we have called multiple stores and are getting multiple answers about the release and availability of the iPhone.

But the consensus is that at 6pm Friday June 29th Apple and AT&T stores will be releasing the iPhone. One Cingular store said they were expecting lines We’ll see. The price may keep the lines short.
